L...quite possibly the sadest episode of the series. Lem was a good cop just about the whole series and paid for it dearly...he was just trying to be a good person and help that little kid in the trailer, which eventually led to him getting separated from the team, then in the dark, then unfortunately killed...i also liked the very ironic line that Shane said: "Im sorry buddy, i had to do it right"...such a good episode but very sad...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10242068.post-1143039725394859732006-03-22T09:02:00.000-06:002006-03-22T09:02:00.000-06:00Bob,Thanks for the responses. No? How about $100,000 for a 275,000 house?” analogy plays better if we were talking about signing a player who had a physical injury and whose recovery was a question. With T.O. it’s about the type of person he is.

You stated “I just want him to behave and catch Touchdowns.” You feel he will behave, perhaps I’m cynical, but I don’t think he will behave based on his prior behavior. It may be cliché but a leopard can’t change its spots. T.O. can’t change the type of person that he is, and it is the type of person he is that caused him to be branded (correctly) a cancer. It appears you think buying cancer at a reduced rate is worth the risk that comes with the cancer, and you think the cancer may be contained. I submit cancer is never a good purchase and out justice system is full of guys who have failed to rehabilitate after far too many chances because they are the way they are.

Let’s revisit this in 3 years and see whose crystal ball was clearer. As a Cowboys fan I hope you’re right, as a realist, I fear I’m correct. Thanks for the debate.
KBAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10242068.post-1143038708659078162006-03-22T08:45:00.000-06:002006-03-22T08:45:00.000-06:00Do you really believe anything big dick hunter say...Do you really believe anything big dick hunter says? The guy is still pissed cuz he's out of a job. The ticket has never taken it easy on the rangers(except for norm). Greg attacks tom hicks every chance he gets. And who cares about nascar??? Big Dick....maybe he can get a job as bellboy at the bunny ranch.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10242068.post-1143037437944750212006-03-22T08:23:00.000-06:002006-03-22T08:23:00.000-06:00One word for last night's episode...underwhelming....One word for last night's episode...underwhelming.

Killing off the problem doesn't make for a good episode, it makes for formulaic crap. This show is usually better than that, and with next season probably being The Shield's last season, I have to ask...what now? Search all season for Lem's killer, figure out it's Shane and what?...kill him, too? They've painted themselves into a corner with this and are going to have to be super creative to get out of it with any type of believablity.

This show should have been better.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10242068.post-1143037068320774902006-03-22T08:17:00.000-06:002006-03-22T08:17:00.000-06:00It's humorous to me that the hosts on The Ticket k...It's humorous to me that the hosts on The Ticket keep claiming that they won't change anything in regards to their coverage of the Cowboys. Of course they will. It may or may not be on purpose or a directive from management but it will happen. It's just human nature. On the other hand, it might very well come as a directive from management. The following excerpt about this subject is on Big Dick Hunter's website:

"One was when Texas Motor Speedway dropped a ton of cash on the station and said "Don't play banjos anymore when NASCAR is mentioned". Banjos were never played again, and The Ticket's price tag got printed in the FWWeekly. I think it was around 250,000 to get us off your backs. That was a bad day.

The other time was when there was a note posted on the studio door reminding us that The Texas Rangers spend alot of money on advertising, and because of that fact we needed to stop saying that it wasn't worth the price of admission to go out and watch a horrible team that was being mismanaged by non caring higher ups. That was another bad day."Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
