Company E-2 is the Corps outfit that is in charge of taking care of Reveille. Within the last few minutes of the game the freshmen cadets in E-2 get ready to escort Reveille out of the stadium. They form a ”Human Shield” and lock arms to make a box for Reveille to be completely enclosed in as they walk out of the stadium trough 70,000+ people. The yelling they were doing was prodded on by the sophomores to make “crowd noise” (i.e. 12th Man) especially since the game was going down to the wire.

As you well know Reveille is highly regarded and it is not far fetched to think that she could get stolen. I think the last time she was stolen was in 1994. So what those freshmen cadets were doing looked pretty stupid (and maybe it was) but they were only doing that to form the box and escort Reveille out of the stadium.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10242068.post-1159931188320226882006-10-03T22:06:00.000-05:002006-10-03T22:06:00.000-05:00No, the website says Gainesville.
