ReDIRKulous
Dirk 50. Mavs win.
Ice Cream headache left at about 10:00. Thank you, Big Man.
I'm so tired of this "the Suns played at their pace". Barkley just said this after the game. If I have hear Doug Collins say "I've watched the Suns a lot this year, no lead is safe". At the half the three stooges were putting the Suns in the Finals. Barkley after the game, "the refs messed up that game". I've got tired-head.
Is it wrong to wish ill on that moron Tim Thomas? What a punk. I really thought that as much as I hated the Spurs, that I would love the Mavs but wouldn't have any hate in this series. Man I hate the Suns. And it starts with Thomas, moves on to the greatest player in NBA history Raja Bell and finishes with Leandro Barbosa. Don't know why I can't stand him, but I don't like him...
Oh yeah, and after all this game, how about that Josh Howard guy? He's pretty good isn't he? And Bob, you get your wish, as you wanted him to prove you right in your assessment that he's the 2nd best Mav, he has done exactly that.
And finally, anyone else get a heart attack every time Stackhouse touches the ball? He could make the most amazing shot of the night, or he could throw the ball to a hot-dog vendor in the 300 section...
The man crush has strengthened... Germany now 2nd favorite country... Terry needs to go to the hole more. Thomas needs to go hang out with freakin' Reddick and make out at the 3 point line... Sturminator called it...good one.
Tim Thomas: spare, spare, spare. Mr. 2nd & 3rd Quarter disappears in the 4th, for the 2nd time this series. Thinks he's such a freakin' bad-ass; why did Chicago and the Knicks cast him off? Just see why in this series. This guy deserves The Shocker, because it doesn't matter which finger(s) he gets, it's appropriate.
Why do so many Mavs fans excuse Steve Nash and LOVE him? I mean, the guy's a great player...in the regular season...just like he was here. His play heads to the ground floor in the playoffs--always has and still does so now. And does anyone go to the refs more often than Nash? I almost expect him to wear silver and black! He throws the palms up whenever a foul is called against him, and anytime he loses the ball after one of his usual wheels-off, seat-of-the-pants drives-and-turnovers, he's always bitching for a foul call. Whiner!!!
i swear i just heard ernie johnson drop an f-bomb in the postgame. they bring out a big-ass check for charity and barkley asks "is this for your wife's charity again?" ernie says "f@#k no!" barkley says "what?" and kenny says "edit" those with tivo help me out
Doug Collins is truly awful. With 5:00 left in the fourth and the Mavs up by nine, Collins mentions that the Suns came back from nine down with 5:00 left to close out the first half, as if clock management were the same for the second and fourth quarters. How does a former NBA coach not understand how that works?
Mavs come back with a vengeance, led by an angry Dirk Nowitzki, who goes for 35 and 16. Mavs win by 15, and put the Suns back on the ropes. Then they finish it in Phoenix, and silence those M-V-P chants Nash is getting, for good.
I wasn't quite right, but wow. I'll definitely take Dirk going for 50 and 12, and Mavs by 16. Anybody want to try and make the argument that Nowitzki's not Top Five in the NBA now? Or that he's not the frontrunner for Playoffs MVP? That fourth quarter was just beyond words.
tim thomas is a tool. it was total poetic justice to have dirk go berzerk and thomas lay a goose egg in the 4th and oh yeah, the strip was just the cherry on the sundae. d'antoni only rises on my list of annoying sacks. in fact, it's not very hard to find pretty much all the suns annoying. mavs must just stomp on the suns' collective neck in game 6. it's the only way to end this series with justice of greek mythological proportions.
I too am having un-natural thoughts about Dirk now. I would go Brokeback for him, no question.
My God...if they make it to the Finals, this whole area's going to be going ape s about it. Remember 1999 and the Stars? People who'd never seen a game became rabid about it, and you could feel it everywhere you went in the Metroplex.
I still don't like basketball, and I sure as hell don't like NBA basketball...but I am on board the Little Mavericks' bandwagon from here on out.
From "FanBoy's Blog" on AZcentral.com, a supposed credible, legitimate news-gathering organization:
Dirk has a good(50 points = just good?) game, so know we can all forget about the egg he laid in Game 4. Of course, the spin was that everyone is entitled to a bad game. I don't remember Jordan ever having a bad game, or Hakeem, or Magic(you're right fanboy, this combined trio went 200-0 on their way to a combined 12 championships), but that is besides the point. If you are going to believe what you are going to read in the next day or say about Dirk you will think he belongs on that level. He doesn't. Let's move on.
"From what I saw, it looked like they gave Bell the T because he hit Howard after the foul. But I thought that was allowed? I need more clarification on this."
That's right. Hitting someone gets you a tech. Why does this moron need clarification?
Dirk is indeed The Man. And what a great post game comment...about seeing all the hard work slip away, etc. So Dirk puts the team (the town) on his big German back and tells Tim Thomas and the rest of the Suns to go get their f-ing shinboxes.
"You think this is funny? If you wanna see funny go to Tim Thomas' house in ten years and I'll show you funny." - Paul Gleason, Breakfast Club
Tim Thomas is the slimy residue in an old ladies douche-bag. He'll need that big bag of nothing to put soda cans in after he's squandered away his millions.
Prediction- at the end of game 6, Avery will check in his wife to kick Tim Thomas's arse. Tim Thomas after the game- "Where I'm from you can't let someone like that(Dirk) talk to you like that." Does he not realize what a joke he's been since coming out 3 years early from Villanova? There's the pride of NJ.
Am I the only one who is a little nervous about having a German (Nazi) as my leader now?
On a positive note, I guess we know that answer to the age old question...who wins in a UCF match between Hitler and MLK. Don't mess with a the German baby!!!!
nash is still a 6 foot white guy who is badass. i dont know why we have to bash him. is he the real MVP, of course not, but he is usually very very good. As for thomas he seemed to be telling dirk he liked pussy, not calling dirk a pussy. dirk must have called him as ass pirate or something. please let the mavs win in 6, the suns still scare the absolute shit out of me. with just under 2 mins left up by 14 i finally relaxed last night.
I was listening to the Muser's and the emailers were saying the Tim Thomas hand wave thing was from WWE's John Cena. WRONG!
White people steal everything!
It’s actually a G-Unit thing, specifically Tony Ya-Yo. My husband and I first noticed this in a video last summer and were just as clueless as to what it was. Then everyone in the video was doing it, even 50-Cent.
It is meant to show off their ice (rings, watches…). I really doubt they would copy a white wanna be rapper/wrestler.
I just wanted to set this straight. As soon as Thomas did it last night I died laughing and had to Tivo it for my husband. The first thing I thought was that NO one is going to know what he’s doing.
Also, did you hear his comments saying that if he had let Dirk punk him he’d never be able to go back home.
I love you Dirk
ReplyDeleteIf you think Tim Thomas is a chump and NAsh whines like Duncan, please post after me. Dirk for God?
ReplyDeleteright after dirk hits the 3 for 50 he goes down to the other end and strips that fugazi tim thomas....beautiful
ReplyDeletedirk for God motion seconded
New children's book:
ReplyDeleteSee Dirk run.
See Dirk jump.
See Dirk hang half-a-hunert on dem greasy haired, whiney azz Fenix Suns-o-beaches.
Go Mavs --- In 6.

Achtung Baby!
ReplyDeleteVorsprung durch Dirk.
I hate to shill 103.3, but Mute Button + Followill/Davis has been the way to go to evade the TNT drivel.

Hey, Rob Bent, there's a reason Collins is not coaching anymore. You brought up one of many examples why.
ReplyDeleteDirk for God Hitler...
ReplyDeletePlease Mavs, can we end this in 6?
ReplyDeleteMy blood pressure can't handle another Game 7.
Please step on their throats and end this thing.
1st game the Mavs win with Dan Crawford on the floor?
Why the F do I even know the refs names? Should not happen.
Barkley was too stupid to realize he trashed Ernie and
his son with MD. That guy is truly borderline Chris Burke.

Triple German strap-on Sports!
ReplyDeleteI loved the taunting the Mavs gave the Suns. Anyone else feel special when the Mavs were doing the "jumping hip-check" near the end of the game.
And where was "Raja-Moses-John-Isaiah-Peter"?
