Week 9 vs. NYG

Date published: Nov. 5, 2019

Really bad first three quarters for Dallas, but the Cowboys still led, 16-15 (Maher actually made some field goals), going into the fourth quarter.

  • Michael Gallup catch (after Dak gets amazing protection) and tightrope walk into the endzone, gives DAL at 23-15 lead with 12 minutes to go.

  • Saquon gets loose and has a huge run, but instead of taking it to the endzone, Byron Jones and Chidobe force him out at the 11 yard line. Huge - NYG settles for a field goal on this drive.

  • Cowboys attack with the lead - lots of passes, but end up with a 3rd-12 after a bad penalty. Moore calls a diagonal concept, gets Amari open, and he converts to salt game away.

Defense played well enough to win, especially after the last drive by DAL offense, to salt game away.
