Decoding the Offense - Week 12 Sea

OK, finally got a chance to break down the Seattle game, and despite the complete and total attack on the scoreboard, there were a few interesting things to see.

First, notice how horrendous the 3rd downs were. 2 for 9 is a number that Brad Johnson is capable of, but who would have thought that in one of the more lethal performances from the offense, they were actually quite lousy on 3rd down.

Next, many of these numbers indicated a team that a) was way ahead and b) was trying to get the game over without anyone else getting hurt after Barber and Ware went down. Due to that, they went “22” the entire 4th Quarter and just fed the rock to Tashard Choice.

Otherwise, nothing jumps off the page at me at first glance. How about you?
