Randy Gregory is again one of the pivotal defensive pieces for the Cowboys. Will this year be different?

One of the biggest cap values on the 2021 Dallas Cowboys is also one of the most fascinating stories. Yet, for very understandable reasons, there are more than a few fans of this organization who will get angry because this story is being discussed publicly.

Checking in on the NFC East: Who is favored to challenge the Cowboys for division crown?

Allow me to share one of my summer projects in a piece today as I begin to sort through the rest of the NFC East and then ultimately the rest of the NFL to make sure all of the files are fully up to speed before we start the 2021 NFL season. For many, there is plenty of time between now and the NFL’s opening night in Tampa, Florida, and the Cowboys’ first battle of the season against the Super Bowl Champion Buccaneers.

Mavericks face uncomfortable change because the clock continues to tick

Let’s be upfront here. I don’t particularly care for change.

I’m a creature of habit. I like things in their familiar order. I like to know what to expect and to see everything where it belongs.

So, of course, when a week like last week happens and there is massive upheaval in the Mavericks front office as two of the most familiar names in Dallas basketball history exit the stage, it was not music to my ears.

The Cowboys Mailbag: Futures of Mike McCarthy, Kellen Moore and Dan Quinn are tied together

The good news about mid-to-late June is that we have almost navigated through all of the “NFL offseason” as we have managed to kill off all but five weeks or so until the opening of training camp.

The Cowboys appear to have a plan at backup QB, but it is difficult to fully see

They often ask you a question that can border on annoying when you buy products online these days. When you buy a product at a certain price point, they always try to interest you in adding on some very nice two-year or four-year product coverage in the event that you accidentally drop your new coffee maker in the ocean. Chances are you will never need protection, but if enough people opt-in for the $19.99 coverage, well, you know how it generally works.

Nahshon Wright film analysis: Reach or not, the Cowboys are betting on cornerback’s ideal traits

As we continue our journey through the 2021 Cowboys draft class, I must make a brief confession. I stalled a bit on this study of third-round cornerback Nahshon Wright from Oregon State for a few reasons. In fairness, he should have been a subject of this study a few weeks ago, but I skipped him in the order at least twice.

Turnovers are forever the name of the game. Can Dallas expect a carryover from 2020?

There is no question that the Dallas Cowboys and their many machinations of defense over the last decade-plus have had a takeaway problem. Every coach has told us that in order to understand the secrets of football, we must simply understand the importance of winning the turnover battle. Then, for years and years, we have seen the Cowboys almost never end up too strong in that department, mostly because the defense cannot make a single play.
