The P1's Struck in Iowa, Saturday

I know it is tough to read, but trust me, it says:

"Don't Worry, Corby - Corso has a Merkin, too."

Geez, that TV in the photo that they got the screenshot from looks like it's from the '70s!!! haha

could the person who took it, maybe position it to where the flash wasn't directly on the sign? Maybe get a tripod and turn that flash off?

Maybe?

I guess since I have a TV capture card, I'm going to have to start Tivo'ing College Gameday so that we can see these signs a little more clearly.

I think that Merkin should have it's own holiday.

Yes Brandon...do that....

I swear...this is such a great bit. Does anyone know the schedule of where College Gameday is going to be the whole season?

I agree with Brad....College gameday is a stomp down for me now and I hate ESPN! This bit must continue at any cost...greatness!

Anyone know if GameDay will be in Dallas this week?

I foresee a flood of Merkin, the likes of which no one has ever seen.

No, the website says Gainesville. Although it is weird they will be at a game that is broadcast on CBS. Do they fear the merkin?

What you saw on TV by those cadets was NOT “squeeze Army”.

What you saw happens within in the last few minutes of every home game by a handful of freshmen cadets from Company E-2. Company E-2 is the Corps outfit that is in charge of taking care of Reveille. Within the last few minutes of the game the freshmen cadets in E-2 get ready to escort Reveille out of the stadium. They form a ”Human Shield” and lock arms to make a box for Reveille to be completely enclosed in as they walk out of the stadium trough 70,000+ people. The yelling they were doing was prodded on by the sophomores to make “crowd noise” (i.e. 12th Man) especially since the game was going down to the wire.

As you well know Reveille is highly regarded and it is not far fetched to think that she could get stolen. I think the last time she was stolen was in 1994. So what those freshmen cadets were doing looked pretty stupid (and maybe it was) but they were only doing that to form the box and escort Reveille out of the stadium.

This is the greatest bit in Ticket history! It's better than the Green Bay arrest incident because it occurs weekly. If Gameday shows up at the Cotton Bowl....God help us! Corso never had a clue.

How about use what most college grads use in the world, a leash, just a thought.
