Monday Links

I would like to offer you some original composition this morning, but I was talked into a 10:30pm showing of Revenge of the Sith last night. If you know me, you know that leaving a movie theater at 1:30 in the morning is not normal. Anyway, the big loser is the blog. Sorry. Or not.

"I thought we had all the right pieces," Nowitzki said. "We just weren't smart enough. With Steve leaving, our overall basketball I.Q. wasn't that great. I think we should have beaten that team."

"I take a lot of blame myself. I want to be at the point where it doesn't matter who plays me. If they put a smaller guy on me, I want to post up, and if they play me with a big guy, I'll take him outside. I'm going to have another summer of hard work."

Cuban still would rather have this team than Nash ...

Cuban still has no regrets. Keeping Nash would've made for "a completely different team," he said, "and I like this team a whole lot better."

"I'm dying for training camp to start," Cuban said. "I love our team."

Anything we get out of Chan Ho is a surprise, but GOOD LORD, another standing ovation?

Let the re-sign Chan Ho talk commence I guess.

By the way, Cuban sure sounded a little sore about losing!!

Where's my Peter King MMQB link? Beeyatch? You can take a day off.. but don't forget that link!

Lazy format comments:

Chan Ho = Fun to see him do well. Nolan is a miracle worker.

Cuban comment = Yes, he should be sore about losing. That's what makes people competitors.

To all the "Cuban is an idiot for letting Nash go" people - did you see the end of the game yesterday? He let his man score or dribble by him 4 strait trips under two minutes to go in the fourth when the Suns desperately needed a stop. He is great offensively, but when it comes this time of year, you gotta be a two way player.

Secondly, since when does it not become GAY to give a higher priority to Star Wars than SPORTZZ? No original writing because "staying up past midnight is really tough for a guy who doesnt start work until my lunch break?!?!?"

Other than that, good luck on Wednesday Bob (although you may not need it as Milan will definitely be down after losing their Serie A title hopes over the weekend).

Great sweep of the lowly stros'.

Now time for a sweep of the Royals, time to make that move on the angels of california.

And I am SO HAPPY that after today the talk will be Baseball, Hockey, and Cowboys camp!

Well, you could have had Nash/Harris and a big man, but you can't blame Cuban for not wanting to pay 100 million, or 150 million in case the salary tax kicks in this year. Instead he's paying 90 million, or 130 million if the salary tax kicks in.
Because of his track record over the years you can't be mad at Cuban for saying no for a change.

What is this popcorn trick that Bob and Dan always speak of?

Arsenal was outplayed, but without Henry, they were missing their scoring punch and could never create a scoring chance. They did well to hang in there. Lehmann played his ace off, and should've been man of the match. I just love to see Man U fail.

ManUre have been outplayed by Arsenal at least once this year and got the W, so it's only fair the favor is returned.

I'm no Scouser but I _really_ want Liverpool to beat Milan. We need more 'pool talk on this board (this week only though).

Come on you Reds!

What about this starting five next year? Dirk, Damp, Howard, Stack, and Jason Kidd

Popcorn Trick comes from the movie "Diner".
