Reports from last night that the league had struck a deal with the union are being followed this morning with reports of "not so fast".
So what is going on? Could the NHL get everyone's (who still cares) hopes up, only to squash them for the second time in a week?
I don't know, and because of a very busy weekend, I don't have too much to offer in the way of answers.

Well, even with Gretzky (and without Bob's favorite whipping boy Bettman) at the table today, no progress was made. So I guess it's not all Bettman's fault after all eh? Face it, the season is dead folks...
I really can't think of a way that these IDIOTS could have injured the game more. Give the fans some hope, then cancel the season. Give the fans some more hope, then crush that. Nice job boys.
