The Ticket has a better offense than Texas

Making a bad night better...

Thank you, dirty Austin P1.

I could not stop laughing when i saw that one. It was probably the only good thing that came out of that game...

Ohio St. looked pretty solid and they did have the revenge factor going for them if they needed any extra motivation. That Pittman fumble was so costly, and it's apparent that Texas did miss Brown in the secondary. I think Texas could still win out and it's likely that these two teams could meet again for the national title, though that game in Lubbock is always a question mark. I don't think OU will be a big hurdle for the Longhorns. This game tonight didn't live up to the hype, but it was Colt McCoy's second game and first on such a huge stage. I think he will grow up fast as the season goes.

there was a sign during gameday that simply read

CORSO IS A HUGE TOOL

not specifically ticket related, but isn't it fun to be able to laugh a little bit?

I have to say I welled with pride when I saw that sign. GENIUS!! Corso will never live that down.. AND I LOVE IT!

what about the no-call offensive pass interference on UT toward the end of the first half? that no-call led led to THE touchdown. it should have been 27-0.

Mack Brown got out-coached, UT offense got out-played, UT sideline got out-celebritied and Lee Corso has a baby arm.

I think it was the LeBron factor. I don't mean to bring up the past, but LeBron is the one who called Dwyane Wade to give support. For Ohio State, he showed up on the sideline. LeBron hates Texas. And LeBron determines who wins every game of every sport.

I can't be the only one - but did anyone see the sign during College GameDay that was always behind Corso that said "At least we don't wear Jorts!" Another Ticket sign.

The Ticket is everywhere. Corso made a huge mistake by messing with the Ticket. He will never live that down!

Oh yeah, football talk...

As a Longhorn fan, I didn't think they were ready for prime-time yet. I did think that they would put up a much better fight. I thought that if OSU made a late mistake, we could steal the game, but I thought a 27-21 score would have been about right. I was very disappointed by the lack of offense and lack of fire from the team. I didn't think Mack was out-coached, I did think Chizek was out-coached. He didn't seem to have the defense prepared. I thought the offensive play calling was fine, but conservative. But considering that you had a red-shirt frosh at QB, it had to be conservative. McCoy played well with the offense he was given but the receivers dropped several key passes and the fumble in the 1st was a huge game turner. They just go down at the 1 and Charles scores on the next play to make it 7-0 UT, you never know how that changes the game and everyone's mindset. But it didn't, UT made the mistakes, and deserved to lose. If they can get their offense on track, I still think they take the Big 12, but let's have national championship talk maybe next year when the coaches trust Colt to throw it 30 yards...

Wow, vr, an actual objective view from a Longhorn fan. Good job. Anon at 11:46 had me laughing at how some people still think you can run the table in the Big 12 with a freshman qb, no matter how good the rest of the team is. Wake up, it's not going to happen. OU had a great team last year except for a freshman qb who was better than Colt is. And it cost them a few games.

Thank God the Whiney Orange are back. I've missed you guys!

"OU had a great team last year except for a freshman qb who was better than Colt is. And it cost them a few games."

I wouldn't go that far.

OU had inexperience last year at other positions besides QB. Their O-line was green and so was their WR corps.

And then when AD went down for a few games...

"Thank God the Whiney Orange are back. I've missed you guys!"

Yeah. Last year wasn't the same without the 'Greg Davis is an idiot' crowd in full force.

Nice to see in a round about way, Longhorn is admitting how much of a role Vince Young played last year. And just how much they miss him.

Well, the Whorns got exposed and I for one am not surprised. At the same time the Sooners had a big win against a quality team and nobodys talking about it. Typical.

Well I'll say it - OU should be ranked higher than Texas. OU is undefeated and on the rise, and Texas is 1-1 and in decline. Texas will destroy Rice but dont be fooled -- there not as good as you people think.

Just FYI, there was a sign on the early College GameDay that said something like "At least I don't wear jorts."

Formerly Anonymous SOONER, please do us Sooner fans a favor, and shut the hell up. Seriously.

I hate Texas and I'm glad they lost, but I am in fact not blind to the obvious. They lost to the number 1 team in the nation.

The Sooners kicked it in gear and finally won thank god, but against a quality team???? Are you crazy??? Washington is God awful and I will bet you $100 right here and now that they don't win but 2-3 games ALL YEAR.

In essence, I want the Sooners to win, and am very happy when they do. I have the Longhorns, and want them to lose, and am very happy when that happens. All that being said, try and have a little bit of perspective along the way.

"Well I'll say it - OU should be ranked higher than Texas."

Well I'll say it - You're a f***ing moron if you honestly think that.

I seriously wonder based upon the idiotic crap you write here whether or not you're just posing as a fan.

Of course being a lifelong Sooner, I have run across more than a few delusional dolts amongst the OU fanbase. So anything's possible.

I guess I touched a nerve with others who claim to be Sooner fans. Well look -- I understand WHY Texas is rakned higher but I question whether they SHOULD be ranked higher. I will not be surprised if Texas has just one loss when its time for the RRS. I expect OU will have no losses.

And if Texas is still ranked higher at kickoff in the Cotton Bowl thats fine. OU will leave it all on the field and we will all know one way or theother who is the better team.

Don't take yourself so seriously it will make you sick or something.

I laughed myself silly when I saw that sign...but then I wondered if Corso thought it was a compliment, like maybe an ex-girlfriend was declaring that Lee had a baby arm down there?

Never mind. I didn't mean to go there.
