i knew it was gay when i did it, but sometimes i can't help myself.sometimes it's the little things in life, chris, that bring so much happiness.what the hell am i talking about?Go Mavver.
Yeah that's pretty gay. I mean Bobs cool and all but seriously...Go Mavs. Beat Phx.Foot on throat.
I'm fourth!! I'm fourth!!!!NOw that's gay!!p1dean
whose the chick in green? I've seen her dancing with Dirk signs at several games.
looks like ernie johnson signed her sign
Blitzkrieg offense > Suns
Why is Dirk standing behind those two chicks? And why is he wearing an orange shirt under his jersey?
If those girls want to bring their sign to my house tonight... Hey, now!
I'd like to put it up her Nash....
Ummm....What is Dick Baveta doing behind the "TNT 3" at the beginning of the telecast??? Is he doing shtick and dancing or is he warming up??
ummm...14 1st qtr points?
Dick Bavetta - when there absolutely, positively has to be a game 7
3:07 left in the 2nd - Notice the Phx Gorilla even complaining about the officiating. Let's treat him like the DPD treated Jabari.Cue darkness music.
what the heck?!! This sucks!Help me obiwan
damnit...the rangers lost. let's see what else is on tv.
This does NOT suck.Heil Dirk!!!
You're right...this no longer sucks. This is the opposite of suck...this is great! As one of the few morons who was in attendance at the Mavs '97 home opener...I have been waiting for this moment for a very very long time!!!
Happiness is seeing Suns fans head towards the exits with two minutes to play. Scoreboard!
I just gasmed in my pants
Don't do it Bob. Don't say it!
I am speechless. Is it gay to have tears right now? If so, I'm gay.Go Mavver.
Listen Bob...Do not lead with Cowboys tomorrow!p1dean
ALL GROWNS UP!!!!
could the TNT post-game talk any MORE about the suns? did the mavericks play tonight?
I'm 30 years old. I've been waiting for this my entire life. I was there in '88. I was there during the Morlon Wiley/Mike Izzulino years. I was there when the 3 J's gave us all hope. I like the Cowboys, the Rangers, and the Stars. I have always lived and died (mostly died) with the Mavs. This is one of the greatest moments of my life.If that makes me gay, then I'm one happy gay.
Oh yeah, I forgot:http://www.brokennewz.com/displaystory.asp_Q_storyid_E_1437nowitzki
GOOD LORD!!!!I am watching the psot game show on TNT and all they are FREKING talking about are the EFFING Suns... STILL. Hey Kenny, Charles.... THEY LOST! Cuban should show this post game show on the flight back to get the team fired up... we are the Rodney Dangerfields of the playoffs. We get NO RESPECT.I am so freaking tired of the coverage. Right... the Suns are going to win it all NEXT year.Right Charles... the refs STOLE the game. "Dey calls it too tight".The Mavs won because they PLAY DEFENSE, GET REBOUNDS and OG TO THE HOOP. THEY PLAY BASKETBALL.
CBFFH,Enjoy the friggin moment already. Whining about what other people are saying when your team is holding the trophy and playing the tired 'we don't get any respect card' is as lame as what Detroit and SA fans have done the last couple of years.....Look to the scoreboard/trophy cabinet for validation instead of scouring the media to see if what they think about you....geesh.
So which network showed the Mavs postgame? We know which one showed the Suns? Ben and Skin are less biased, and far more professional. Could the TNT/Suns postgame bunch have any more failed-smile than they are showing?Frankly, I'm stunned even a single one of the morons picked the Mavs to win the title over the Pat Riley.Quotes from the Suns Booster Club:"You just feel bad for Steve Nash. We all wanted to see Steve Nash in the finals"."Everybody in the league wants to copy how Phoenix is playing.""The NBA is back strong because of Steve."
all i know is, when my team wins a ticket to play in the finals....i'd like to see a little recognition. what i saw was pitiful.
This is not the freaking Special Olympics. We're not going to give the Suns a medal for trying hard. THEY LOST. THE MAVS WON.Next.
Time for the Mayoral Bet. I say Laura Miller offers to bet the Miami Mayor our Mexicans for their Cubans.
Be careful that the mayor of Miami doesn't try to pass off some Salvadorans!
As one of the long-time Mavs fans (I moved to Dallas in 1986), I was at all three games at home during the 1988 WCF against the Lakers. I remember watching Harper score late in game 6 to keep the series alive, I remember Tarpley on the big screen chanting "Beat LA" and I remember getting goose bumps being in the arena. As asked earlier, if it's gay to be near tears over this team, then that's what I am. I just finished watching the game (had to work late) and I can't believe that this team now has the guts to come from 18 points down to win by 10. A few years ago, this would have gone from 18 down to 30 down. Now, we take an 18 point deficit, on the road no less and turn it into a 10 point win. I am so happy right now I can't even believe it. What a great day to be a Mavs fan!
It's still a bit surreal. i keep seeing and hearing that the mavs are in the finals. it's been a long time coming. it's sweet to come from the abdul jeelani days to this. permagrinnin' like crazy.
Wow. Very surreal moment. I don't like thinking about the Heat next round, but as a long suffering Mavs fan I'm going to enjoy this for a while.
Tim Thomas wins my Douchebag McFucker Award for this year's playoffs.Act like you have some class next time, spare. That is if you get a next time...
F Tim ThomasF all the Suns for their "we had all these injuries" post-game commentsGo "Amricks"
Just wanted to say a big F YOU to the Academy store manager in Mesquite, who turned away families and others who drove to his store to buy Mavs gear, and promptly got the door slammed in their faces.Way to go, dude. have fun working at Academy the rest of your life...
