Mavericks vs Trail Blazers 4/21/11 Game 3 ADS

Put away your brooms because this series just got interesting. The difference between the Mavs first quarter and second quarter is a scary thing to look at. Could this have been that after their turnover fiasco that the Mavs were a little hesitant to drive to the basket? It doesn't help that Chandler fouled out. Yes you can say that Mavericks still have Haywood, but he doesn't give the same threat as Chandler. The Trail Blazers can afford to leave him some room knowing that if he does get the ball they can foul him and lets face it; you have a better chance to bullseye a womp rat in your T-16 back home than Haywood nailing a free throw.

We have some quick ADS stats for you, thanks to Adam. Who is also the guy who wrote the playoff preview that if you educated yourself by reading it; you wouldn't be as shocked to see Portland dominating the Mavs on the ADS stat sheet. Portland was able to force Dirk just a few feet out of his normal shot distance, as Dallas still struggles to slow down Aldridge even with him shooting from a farther distance.
