The Mavs win! Finally we get to see the Mavericks pull off an impressive win over a team that is relevant in the NBA. Lets not blow this one out of proportion, its one step on the road to recovery. I don't think one win is enough to dig yourself out of a slump of six games, don't get me wrong it's nice to feel good about the win but I think in the world of sports we have a habit of letting the little good things cover up the big issues. Look on the brighter side of things, with the Stars on their Canada road trip the Mavs may be able to borrow some of that 2011 luck that the boys on the ice have had as of late in the AAC.
Side Notes- Kidd scores a season high of 21 and makes it a double-double with 10 assists.
- Jason Terry and Shawn Marion each scored 22 off the bench.
- Kobe and Odom both got double-doubles combining for 41 points, 20 assists.
- Gasol reached the 13,000-point milestone.
