Mavericks vs Lakers 3/12/11

It's a safe bet to say that the Lakers will have one of the lowest ADS for the season. Looks that the word got around the association of Carlisle "soft" talk. Lakers decided the test that in the first with 20 out of their 22 points were in the paint. Some may say Mavs missed their chance when Kobe went out in the 2nd half, but he didn't seem to be the issue going only 6 for 20, 16 points. Overall it wasn't an ugly game, but it wasn't a pretty one either. On the bright side at least Dallas didn't give up a lead to lose this one.

Side Notes
- Phil Jackson's 600th win as the Lakers head coach. 600-287 overall with the team.
- The Mavericks were 4-for-16 from beyond the arc, snapping a streak of 35 consecutive games with at least six 3-pointers.
- Nowitzki and Marion had 50 points combined.

Compare last time these two teams met earlier this season.
